Nature Methods publication on a NIR calcium indicator
A recent article with the Campbell lab in Nature Methods reported a near-infrared (NIR) genetically encoded calcium ion indicator (GECI). This will aid in many applications where NIR light is favored or where separation of signals from multiple indicators is desired.
