Welcome to the Neural Interface Engineering Laboratory, directed by Prof. Shy Shoham.
We are affiliated with New York University’s Tech4Health Institute, Neuroscience Institute and Department of Ophthalmology.
We work at the interface of neuroscience and engineering, developing and applying modern bidirectional neural interfaces for observing and controlling neural population activity patterns. Our goal is to better understand sensory-motor information coding and to advance medical neurotechnology.
